Now firmly renowned in Oxford for delivering precisely what our clients want, whether a first time subtle black and grey, or a large scale full colour design; we can provide anything and everything in between.

We are the only studio in Oxford to offer body modifications such as scarification, genital beading, flesh stapling, ear reconstructions, magnetic implants, tongue splitting and body suspension. We also provide a range of full body piercing inc. ear stretching, micro dermal implants, surface piercings and genital piercings.

All tattoos, piercings and body modifications are carried out by fully trained professionals, using top quality equipment, needles and jewellery.

Our Oxford Studio

Situated in Headington, Oxford, the studio is just 10 minutes from Oxford city centre.

We are a custom tattoo and body modification studio giving our clients the opportunity and platform to expresses their uniqueness. Our vision is to give the community a studio that caters for everybody's requirements and answers all of their questions in a professional and qualified manner. We consider your ideas, and allow you to envisage exactly what is achievable with your tattoo, piercing or modification.

Each and every step of your visit to our studio is crucially important to the artists at Black Mamba. We place strict emphasis on all aspects of your modification from the creation of individual designs through to the care and future of your new addition.

Body art has been a part of my life for at least 12 years now. I started my career with body piercing and went through years of learning and training to obtain the diplomas and certificates I possess now. I can perform a wide variety of procedures to the likes of, scarification, magnetic implants, flesh stapling, body suspension and beading implants. I have attended a great deal of BMXnet conferences in Germany, where I met Steve Haworth. Samppa Von Cyberg, Iestyn Flye and Ron Garza were the influential people who introduced me to the world of tongue splitting and scarification. I have attended Laser Technician courses, therefore I am qualified to carry out laser removal procedures. I became interested in tattooing around 5-6 years ago and was naturally attracted to the art form, I also like to tattoo my own artwork and love a challenge. There would be no progress and evolution in self expansion without challenge.

I first started tattooing 14 years ago and I did not anticipate that this would then become such a big part of my life. The first tattoos that I worked on were basic tribal designs, which was a popular style back then.

In 2008, I studied a tattoo course where I gained a lot of knowledge about health and safety and the technical aspects of tattooing. Now that I have progressed the challenging shading and biomechanical type of tattoos are very much what I enjoy doing most.

I have a deep passion for tattooing and I continue to enjoy working with the team of professionals at Black Mamba.

Lisa

Helloooo. My name's Lisa and I am the Manageress and Body Piercer at Black Mamba, I'm the main point of contact at the studio and can usually be found doodling behind the reception desk, dealing with customers or giving someone a beautiful new piercing. My love and enthusiasm for Tattoos and Body piercings started at a young age, and I still have that same passion now, which can be seen in my work and communication with customers. I strive for perfection with my piercings and tattoo designs and won't settle for anything less. I've got years of experience working in studios as a piercer and a manager, having my own body piercing business and working at festivals offering hygienic professional piercings. No matter where I am I carry out the same level of professionalism, skill and customer care. I am always here to help with any questions and queries and designs and look forward to meeting you 😊

'The Management'

Black Mamba are pleased to present our wonderful team of management and reception. Anton, and his wife Zoe own and operate the business, and ensure everything runs perfectly behind the scenes.

Zoe and Lisa undertake receptionist duties, and handle everything you need, from booking and availability of artists through to tattoo after care and advice.
